The best balcony and garden in Alanya

The countdown has begun for the Most Beautiful Balcony Garden Contest, which is organized every year by Alanya Municipality. Applications, which will start on Monday, March 6, will continue until May 8. This year, the Roof and Terrace Garden category has been added to the competition.

During the application, all participants will submit photos of the places they want to participate in the competition electronically. The pre-selection will be made through digital submissions and the finalist venues will be evaluated by the jury members.

EVALUATION ON 17-18 MAY

Akdeniz University Faculty of Architecture Head of Landscape Architecture Department Prof. Dr. Reyhan Erdoğan, Alanya Municipality Parks and Gardens Manager Nazmi Uyar, Chamber of Landscape Architects Alanya Representative Kübra Tuğçe Bekrioğlu, Landscape Architect Hande Doru, Landscape Architect Fatma Yıldız, writer and Environmental Volunteer İsmail Haboğlu, Photography Artist and AFSAK Association President İlhami Yetkin. The jury members will evaluate the finalists between 17-18 May 2023.

Alanya Mayor Adem Murat Yücel said in a statement; He stated that the aim of the Most Beautiful Balcony, The Most Beautiful Garden Contest is to create more livable environments and useful spaces with increased visual quality by increasing the public’s sensitivity to the environment and greenery. For this purpose, our categories in the competition; are The Most Beautiful Balcony, The Most Beautiful Garden, The Most Beautiful Roof, and Terrace Garden. Citizens who want to participate in the competition will be able to get information and apply through WhatsApp (+90 537 990 25 27) after filling out the application forms on the official website of Alanya Municipality (park_bahceler@alanya.bel.tr) until the date of the competition.
