The festival, which will feature products and producers grown in the fertile lands of Alanya, Turkey’s tropical fruit paradise, will be held for the first time this year with the theme of ‘Avocado’ and will bring together many sectors from the cultivation of avocado to its processing and use in gastronomy, gifts, and cosmetics.
CELEBRITIES AND SHOWS ON THE GASTROMUTFAK STAGE
At the Gastro Kitchen stage to be set up in the festival area, the workshops will be held throughout the day, where famous chefs will prepare and give recipes with avocado flavors, as well as the events where the cultivation of avocado, its importance in nutrition, its contribution to health and its applications in the field of cosmetics will be colored for 3 days with the participation of experts in their fields. The event, dominated by entertainment throughout the festival, will become a musical feast where famous names take the stage in the evenings.
Various competitions will also be held during the festival, where avocados and the tropical fruits of Alanya will be evaluated and promoted as a whole. The ‘The Most Beautiful Avocado Garden’ and ‘Heaviest Avocado’ competitions, which will be held in cooperation with the Alanya Chamber of Agriculture and the Avocado Producers Union, will be the scene of the competition of all farmers in our region. Participation in the contest, in which the farmers from Alanya, who bring their sweat and sweat together with the soil, will take place, is free of charge and the applications will be made to Alanya Municipality in person.
