WHAT IS THE HISTORY OF ALANYA HEP UNIVERSITY?
Alanya Hamdullah Emin Paşa University ( #AlanyaHEP ) was established in 2014 as a foundation university in #Alanya. Alanya HEP University, (Alanya Hamdullah Emin Pasha University) takes its name from Hamdullah Emin Pasha, who established the foundation that opened the university. Hamdullah Emin Paşa was born in 1852 studied law in Egypt, and pursued his law and economics education in Switzerland and in London. In 1923 he had a school built in the village where he was born. “Hamdullah Emin Pasha and his wife Hatice Tahire Hanım” education foundation was established in 1932 to be able to provide accommodation for the kids from nearby villages studying in that school. Hamdullah Emin Pasha donated all his property including land and tenements to the foundation in order to be used after his death. The foundation became active in 1968 and since then it has been giving scholarships, building libraries, language labs, sports complexes, dormitories as well as colleges for higher education.
WHERE IS ALANYA HEP UNIVERSITY?
Alanya HEP University is located in the city center of Alanya, 35 km from Gazipaşa Airport and 120 km from Antalya Airport. Because of its location between the Mediterranean Sea and the Taurus Mountains, and its numerous historical and natural attractions, Alanya is one of the most famous tourist destinations in Turkey. The University has a settlement plan that integrates with Alanya so that personnel and students can benefit from the advantages of centralization and accessibility.

The settlement is very close to the Antalya-Mersin Road and is 400 meters away from the bus station of Alanyum Shopping Center. Thanks to its location, Alanya HEP makes it possible for students to access many facilities, such as shopping centers, culture-art centers, sports centers, cafes, restaurants, banks, hospitals etc.

- Transcript showing all courses taken and grades achieved in high school
- Passport
- Application fee receipt
WHO SHOULD I CONTACT?
The International Relations Office (IRO) has been established to foster and maintain the University’s international relations. It further acts as a coordination center for international contacts. IRO staff advises students on opportunities for a stay abroad during their studies (study and internship program) and informs them about corresponding procedures. They are the contact for students from abroad and exchange students from partner universities.
