Ingredients for Guluklu Soup Recipe
- 250 grams of ground beef
- 500 grams of boiled chicken meat
- 4 cups chicken stock
- 1 bowl of boiled chickpeas
- 1 cup of rice
- 1 tomato
- 1 tablespoon of tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 teaspoon of red pepper
- 1 tablespoon of mint
- 1 lemon
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- Salt
- Liquid oil
How to prepare Gülüklü Soup
First of all, small meatballs called “gülük” are prepared. Mix the ground beef, black pepper, red pepper and salt. Chickpea-sized meatballs are made. These meatballs are fried in a little oil. Butter and two spoons of oil are put in the soup pot, tomato paste is added, it is fried a little, and tomato grated is added. (You can also add a little red pepper and black pepper, it’s spicy good) Chicken broth and 4 more glasses of water are added to it, when it boils, rice and salt are added and boiled for five minutes. Then, the meatballs are boiled for a few minutes, and chickpeas and chicken are added. Boil for another five minutes, add the mint and lemon juice, and turn off the stove.
