17th Oil wrestling in Alanya

17th Oil wrestling will be held in Alanya at Gökbel Yayla on 12-13th of August in 20223. It will be an entertaining event, with many wrestlers competing for the title. Sibel Can will take the stage at Gökbel

Famous artist Sibel Can will take the stage in Gökbel Wrestling, which will be held for the 17th time this year by Alanya Municipality.
The 17th of the traditional Alanya Gökbel Plateau Oil Wrestling was started by Adem Murat Yücel when he was the Mayor of Kestel. It was continued by the Alanya Municipality and will be held again this year.

After “662nd Historical Kırkpınar Oil Wrestling”, Alanya Mayor Adem Murat Yücel announced the traditional Gökbel Plateau Oil Wrestling. This will be held for the 17th time on August 12-13 this year.

Mayor Yücel said everybody was invited to wrestling competitions and amusements and added that “All our chief wrestlers who competed in the quarter-finals, semi-finals, and finals in Kırkpınar will tie their arms together with nearly a thousand of our athletes at the Traditional Gökbel Highland Oil Wrestling, which we will organize on August 12-13.
