Alanya municipality parks and gardens department management has completed to the usage of the first Alanya dog park in order the city dogs should spend free time outside.
The park is appr.420 sqm in Hacet District. In the green area, there is a wooden educational racecourse and dog WC. The municipality department manager Uyar said that We are doing what is possible for the animals in the city atmosphere. We have done this kind of park for the first time and we will have more this kind of works. We are aiming to have an environment and animal-friendly town.
Alanya municipality and local Alanya people taking good care about cats and dogs on the street. There are several cat houses at different parks of Alanya. On the other hand probably one of the best animal shelters in Turkey is in Alanya as well.
