The International Alanya Stone Sculpture Symposium will take place in Alanya, between 1-30 November 2017.
The participating artists have been chosen by a jury appointed by the Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, with two guest jury members representing the Alanya Municipality. The jury’s decision are based upon the evaluation of the artists’ application portfolios. At the end of the symposium, each artist will be given a certificate of participation signed by Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University and the Alanya Municipality.
Alanya Municipality Major Mr. Adem Murat Yücel has given speech at the opening ceremony that during a month the artists are going to shape the stones and those are going to decorate our parks as master pieces. This year we will have the children theme. I wish the great succes to our artists and thanks to everyone who works at our organisation.

This year the theme of the Symposium is ‘Street Sulptures with Child Subject‘.
Programme of the Symposium:
November 1st, 2017 – Opening ceremony.The beginning of the symposium;
November 22nd, 2017 – workshop with children, 20 primary school students;
December 1st, 2017– Closing ceremony.
